What the school provides

The School Integration Program is an inclusive strategy of the school system that aims to provide additional support to students who have Special Educational Needs (SEN) of a permanent nature (associated with disability) or transitory attending regular education establishments. It favors the presence and participation in the classroom, the achievement of learning objectives and the educational trajectory of “each and every student”, thus contributing to the continuous improvement of the quality of education.

The Ministry of Education provides guidelines for a curricular management that allows an adequate implementation of the PIE policy, through technical documentation, examples of actions to integrate the PIE to the Educational Improvement Plan, among others. Definition of school according to pedagogues
